We are raising awareness about the crucial role of rainforests and encouraging the public to support our campaign. We are lobbying the UK government to ensure rainforest protection is included in international agreements, but also that we do what is necessary to reduce pollution right here in the UK. Helping spread the word is RFUK's Climate Change Campaigner Nat Dyer.
In a new interview Nat explains how the issue of climate change has moved up the political agenda, and argues that protecting rainforests and securing the rights of forest peoples must go hand-in-hand with reducing emissions at home. Read Nat's interview here.
