RF 10K receives UK Athletics Accreditation

The serious business of running the Rainforest 10K has just got even more serious, with the news that the race has received UK Athletics accreditation.
UK Athletics is the body responsible for developing and implementing the rules and regulations of the sport, including everything from anti-doping, health and safety and welfare, to training and education for coaches and officials and facilities licensing. RFUK's 10K run joins an elite group of races across the country to be accredited by UK athletics.

For professional and semi professional athletes, this seal of approval means that their times on the day can be submitted as personal bests.

And for everyone else, the fact that the race is UK Athletics accredited ensures that the course, its measurement, the timing, health and safety and marshalling all meet professional standards. This will make your racing experience better than ever before.

So for those of you bothered about climate change, why not get serious, getting hot and sweaty at our annual 10k and fight climate change by protecting rainforests.

Pop on your running shoes and help to reduce the planet's carbon emissions by making some (UK accredited) footprints that won't do any damage!
