There are many ways in which you can use your skills and expertise to help the Rainforest Foundation UK, however much or little time you may be able to spare. Please note that we are unable to cater for overseas volunteers, all of the positions in our projects are filled by local workers only. There are many different opportunities to help out in the UK

Based in central London our small team have volunteering opportunities for those who are interested in helping us out in the office. There are many ways in which you can help us and get involved in fundraising, campaigns, events, office & admin work. We value and appreciate the contribution that volunteers make to our work and are committed to ensuring that volunteering at the Rainforest Foundation UK is a rewarding and productive experience. The availability of volunteer opportunities at the office varies depending on availability of staff and resources, and due to the nature of the tasks we do ask for a minimum commitment of hours where possible.

Volunteer at an event

We always require enthusiastic volunteers to help ensure that our fundraising events run successfully. Whether it’s helping out at a black tie ball or marshalling at our annual 10K run there are a wide range of experiences to be had, and it is a great opportunity to do something different and meet new people. We are also looking for outgoing people who would like to come along and help out at fairs and green events in London, helping to campaign and raise awareness amongst the public.

RFUK Volunteer evening - a chance for you to find out more about our work.

RFUK would like to invite all volunteers, past and present, to a volunteer evening at the RFUK offices, where you'll have a chance to meet our projects staff and question them about the work they have been doing out in the field. Joe Eisen who has just returned from 7 months in Gabon will be here to answer your questions, along with Martijn Ter Heegde our Africa Programmes Co-ordinator. Join us for a glass of wine and learn more about the work you are supporting.

Fundraising doesn’t have to be time consuming; it can also be great fun, and a fantastic way to raise awareness as well as funds! Whatever your time commitment why not think about getting involved in some kind of fundraising activity – whether its something as simple as having a collection box in your office or local shop, or organising a pub quiz with your friends you are bound to have some fun and meet new people in the process of raising money for a great cause.
