Community Forests can be a valuable tool for the protection of forests and securing local peoples’ rights. Setting up Community Forests depends on the hard work and dedication of skilled staff who work directly in the forests with villagers.

£120 is the cost of training an instructor in Community Forestry, who can then help local communities to continue to use and protect forests.
