Tokyo has joined the ranks as one of the six Marathon Majors. Superbly organised with easy access to the start through to the finish and reuniting with family, this fast course takes in the Imperial Palace, Asakusa Kaminarimon Gate – the oldest temple in Tokyo – and finishes on the waterfront at Tokyo Big Sight.
A marathon like no other- The route takes in the beautiful Paro Valley with views of 8000mt peaks and the dramatic Tigers Nest Monastery. Bhutan is mystical, enchanting and like nowhere you have ever been and is voted one of the world’s top travel destinations.
Berlin Marathon - 25th September 2016
Renowned for slick organisation and fast flat course, its route is one of the most compelling ever over excellent roads and finally passing through the Brandenburg Gate, the symbol of the old divide between east and west, just before the finish line.
If you want to run a marathon, then The TCS New York City Marathon should be at the top of your list. The city is big, brash and exciting - the marathon is equally so. You will run through a melting pot of ethnic and cultural influences as you leave suburban Staten Island, run through Brooklyn and Queens before crossing into Manhattan, briefly pass through the Bronx and finish in Central Park.
The crowds are the best, the loudest, the most fun - simply they are New Yorkers and they are determined to welcome ‘the World to Run' as the New York Road Runner's are proud to claim.
Paris Marathon – 3rd April 2016
Places in these Marathons are provided by 2.09 Events Ltd, who are an official tour operator for the race. They package up guaranteed places in the race with flights and (if you require it) accommodation. They also offer supporter packages should you want to invite friends and family to cheer you on.
