Campaigns and Advocacy

Since our inception in 1989, the Rainforest Foundation has been a vocal advocate for indigenous rights and rainforest protection. In collaboration with local civil society organisations and international allies, we campaign to ensure laws around indigenous and community rights are respected – and where existing laws fall short, we advocate for stronger ones.

Whether opposing environmentally reckless infrastructure projects or alerting the international community to urgent human rights abuses, our campaign work is thoroughly rooted in practical experience and is constantly aimed at amplifying the voices of marginalised forest dwellers.
