{"id":1047,"date":"2020-02-27T00:00:02","date_gmt":"2020-02-27T00:00:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rainforestfoundationuk.org\/?p=1047"},"modified":"2022-07-19T15:48:27","modified_gmt":"2022-07-19T15:48:27","slug":"el-marco-mundial-para-la-biodiversidad-despues-de-2020-una-nueva-amenaza-para-los-pueblos-indigenas-y-las-comunidades-locales","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rainforestfoundationuk.org\/es\/the-post-2020-global-biodiversity-framework-a-new-threat-to-indigenous-people-and-local-communities\/","title":{"rendered":"El \"Marco Mundial para la Biodiversidad despu\u00e9s de 2020\", \u00bfuna nueva amenaza para los pueblos ind\u00edgenas y las comunidades locales?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Mientras un grupo de expertos se re\u00fane en Roma para redactar un plan que podr\u00eda duplicar la superficie mundial de zonas protegidas hasta el 30% en 2030, la Rainforest Foundation UK (RFUK) y Survival International han expresado su temor de que esto pueda provocar un aumento de las violaciones de los derechos humanos y de los conflictos por la tierra si no va respaldado por garant\u00edas mucho m\u00e1s s\u00f3lidas de los derechos de los pueblos ind\u00edgenas y otros habitantes locales.<\/p>\n<p>En una carta al grupo de trabajo para la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rainforestfoundationuk.org\/media.ashx\/post-2020-biodiversity-framework-briefingfinalsurvivalrfukmrg.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Marco para la biodiversidad despu\u00e9s de 2020<\/a>\u00a0que sentar\u00e1n las bases para la aplicaci\u00f3n del Convenio sobre la Diversidad Biol\u00f3gica en los pr\u00f3ximos decenios, advertimos contra cualquier ampliaci\u00f3n del modelo de \"conservaci\u00f3n en fortalezas\" que prevalece en gran parte de los tr\u00f3picos, como sigue <a href=\"http:\/\/rainforestparksandpeople.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">investigaciones publicadas<\/a> que ha dejado al descubierto el coste humano de las zonas estrictamente protegidas.<\/p>\n<p>Tambi\u00e9n advertimos de que la campa\u00f1a, conocida como 30x30, podr\u00eda acelerar la crisis clim\u00e1tica. Las denominadas soluciones basadas en la naturaleza pueden desempe\u00f1ar un papel importante en la restauraci\u00f3n de los ecosistemas y la adaptaci\u00f3n al cambio clim\u00e1tico a largo plazo, pero su <a href=\"https:\/\/redd-monitor.org\/2019\/07\/04\/offsetting-fossil-fuel-emissions-with-tree-planting-and-natural-climate-solutions-science-magical-thinking-or-pure-pr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">el potencial de mitigaci\u00f3n del cambio clim\u00e1tico se ha sobrevalorado enormemente<\/a>y la industria del petr\u00f3leo y el gas ya se ha lanzado a por \u00e9l como una forma de compensar supuestamente sus emisiones y retrasar la tan necesaria acci\u00f3n clim\u00e1tica en el mundo industrializado.<\/p>\n<p>Joe Eisen, Director Ejecutivo de RFUK, declar\u00f3:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\"Si bien es cierto que se necesitan compromisos audaces para hacer frente a las emergencias clim\u00e1ticas y de biodiversidad, \u00e9stos no pueden producirse a expensas de los m\u00e1s pobres del mundo y de los menos responsables de estas crisis.
