A lo largo del pr\u00f3ximo a\u00f1o entrevistaremos a una serie de personas que hacen posible los proyectos de RFUK. Desde el personal de los socios en el pa\u00eds hasta los miembros de la comunidad, las personas son fundamentales para nuestro trabajo y esperamos que nuestra serie de perfiles a lo largo de 2017 les resulte interesante.<\/p>\n

En primer lugar\u00a0Robert Sangster-Poole<\/strong>, Coordinadora de Comunicaci\u00f3n de RFUK, que se ha incorporado recientemente al equipo aqu\u00ed en el Reino Unido.<\/p>\n

Rob tiene un m\u00e1ster en \u00c1frica y Desarrollo Internacional por la Universidad de Edimburgo, donde su investigaci\u00f3n se centr\u00f3 en la mejora de la sostenibilidad en las relaciones Norte-Sur. Rob ha investigado en Ghana y es voluntario desde hace mucho tiempo en Jamaican Self-Help, una organizaci\u00f3n no gubernamental educativa y de desarrollo de capacidades. Rob se incorpora a RFUK tras trabajar para la Asociaci\u00f3n de las Naciones Unidas en Canad\u00e1, donde desempe\u00f1\u00f3 el cargo de Coordinador de Investigaci\u00f3n y Log\u00edstica.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\"Robert\n\t\tRobert Sangster-Poole, Coordinador de Comunicaci\u00f3n de RFUK, de vacaciones en Canad\u00e1.\n\t

P: \u00bfQu\u00e9 le gusta de su trabajo en RFUK?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Rob: Trabajar con RFUK es b\u00e1sicamente el trabajo de mis sue\u00f1os. Me encanta poder trabajar en todos los proyectos. Es incre\u00edble tener una exposici\u00f3n tan amplia y aprender todas las cosas que hace nuestro equipo, desde campa\u00f1as de conservaci\u00f3n a bosques comunitarios o seguimiento en tiempo real. Cada semana trabajo en algo distinto. Es muy interesante.<\/p>\n

P: H\u00e1blenos de su experiencia investigadora en \u00c1frica.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Rob: Hace varios a\u00f1os tuve la suerte de viajar a Ghana, donde realic\u00e9 una investigaci\u00f3n sobre el movimiento obrero y el sector agr\u00edcola. Aprend\u00ed mucho y colabor\u00e9 estrechamente con un equipo muy brillante y apasionado de uno de los principales sindicatos del pa\u00eds. Tambi\u00e9n tuve la oportunidad de contribuir a una investigaci\u00f3n apasionante (y alarmante) sobre el impacto de las plantaciones de agrocombustibles a gran escala en el pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n

P: \u00bfCu\u00e1l es su actividad favorita fuera del trabajo?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Rob: Me encantan los juegos de mesa, sobre todo los que te hacen reflexionar sobre el mundo real. De hecho, \u00a1acabo de descubrir una versi\u00f3n de Colonos de Cat\u00e1n con el tema del cambio clim\u00e1tico!<\/p>\n

P: \u00bfCu\u00e1l es el mejor consejo que le han dado?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Rob: Para mudarme a Londres<\/p>\n

P: \u00bfCu\u00e1l es su comida favorita?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Rob: Mi comida favorita es el chocolate, si es que a eso se le puede llamar comida. Obviamente, es una ventaja si se produce de forma sostenible, como el chocolate Kemito Ene, elaborado por los socios de RFUK en Per\u00fa. Es incre\u00edble, \u00a1y acabo de comprar un mont\u00f3n para los calcetines de Navidad!<\/p>\n

P: \u00bfCu\u00e1l es su hogar?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Rob: Canad\u00e1 es mi hogar. Me encanta Londres, pero echo de menos la nieve.<\/p>\n\t
