We are delighted to present our 2025 Annual Review, which highlights the key achievements and impact of RFUK’s projects and campaigns over the past year in partnership with Indigenous Peoples and forest communities around the world.
EXPLOITATION FORESTIERE : LES PROJETS VISANT A LEVER LE MORATOIRE SUR L'EXPLOITATION FORESTIERE EN RDC MENACENT LES EFFORTS DE PROTECTION DES FORETS DANS LE BASSIN DU CONGO
Une nouvelle note d'information met en garde contre le fait que les projets visant à lever le moratoire sur l'exploitation forestière en RDC pourraient ouvrir de vastes zones de la forêt tropicale du bassin du Congo à l'exploitation forestière industrielle, menaçant ainsi les forêts, les droits des communautés et les objectifs climatiques. Elle appelle le gouvernement à maintenir le moratoire et à donner la priorité à une gestion forestière durable menée par les communautés.
Cette note d'information a été élaborée par Actions pour la promotion et la protection des peuples et des espèces menacés (APEM), le Centre d’Appui à la Gestion Durable des Forêts Tropicales (CAGDFT), Geofirst Development, le Groupe d'action pour sauver l'homme et son environnement (GASHE), la Rainforest Foundation United Kingdom (RFUK), le Réseau pour la conservation et la réhabilitation des écosystèmes forestiers (Réseau CREF), le Réseau Ressources Naturelles (RRN) et le Programme de promotion et d'appui aux initiatives féminines (PREPPYG).

Une Vision 2033 : une nouvelle ère pour la protection de la forêt tropicale présente notre feuille de route pour la prochaine décennie en matière de conservation de la forêt tropicale. S'appuyant sur plus de 30 ans d'expérience aux côtés des peuples autochtones et des communautés locales, cette vision explique comment la combinaison d'actions menées par les communautés, de changements systémiques, de technologies innovantes et de partenariats renforcés peut permettre de mener des actions à l'échelle et avec l'urgence requises par les crises climatiques et de la biodiversité.

Tropical Forest Forever Facility Briefing Note
This briefing note presents key reflections from a group of international environmental, human rights and Indigenous solidarity organisations on the development of the Tropical Forest Forever Facility (TFFF). Based on concept 2.0, it aims to highlight critical issues that must be addressed for the TFFF to achieve its goals. While not a comprehensive review due to limited public information and time, it underscores essential concerns for the feasibility of the TFFF to deliver fair and effective action for tropical forests and their inhabitants.
