Les efforts d\u00e9ploy\u00e9s par le pays pour sortir de deux d\u00e9cennies d'instabilit\u00e9 politique et de conflits violents ont entra\u00een\u00e9 une augmentation des pressions exerc\u00e9es sur ses for\u00eats par le d\u00e9veloppement agricole et les industries extractives, tandis que l'exploitation foresti\u00e8re ill\u00e9gale est \u00e9galement tr\u00e8s r\u00e9pandue.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Les efforts men\u00e9s en faveur de la conservation de la for\u00eat, dans le cadre du programme de r\u00e9duction des \u00e9missions dues \u00e0 la d\u00e9forestation et \u00e0 la d\u00e9gradation (REDD+) et du r\u00e9seau d'aires strictement prot\u00e9g\u00e9es, ont souvent accus\u00e9 \u00e0 tort les communaut\u00e9s d\u2019\u00eatre responsables de la destruction de la for\u00eat, empi\u00e9tant ainsi sur leurs droits \u00e0 la terre et aux ressources.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Cependant, depuis 2016, la RDC s\u2019est dot\u00e9e des lois sur la foresterie communautaire sans doute les plus progressistes de la r\u00e9gion. Elles ont permis aux communaut\u00e9s de s\u00e9curiser leurs droits collectifs sur leurs terres traditionnelles pour la premi\u00e8re fois, leur permettant d\u00e9sormais de les g\u00e9rer d'une mani\u00e8re qui pr\u00e9serve \u00e0 la fois leurs moyens de subsistance et la for\u00eat. Une nouvelle loi sur les peuples autochtones promet en outre d\u2019accorder de nouvelles protections et de nouveaux droits aux populations autochtones.<\/p>\n\t<div class=\"map_wrapper\" id=\"map_wrapper_7681\">\n<div class=\"map_box\" style=\"max-width:400px\">\n<div class=\"map_aspect_ratio\" style=\"padding-top:100%\" data-padding-top=\"100%\" data-padding-top-mobile=\"100%\">\n<div class=\"map_container\">\n<div class=\"map_render map_loading\" id=\"map_7681\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h2>\n\t\tNos impacts\n\t<\/h2>\n\t<ul>\n<li class=\"translation-block\">Avec nos partenaires, nous avons fait campagne pendant des ann\u00e9es pour l\u2019adoption d\u2019une l\u00e9gislation exemplaire qui permettrait aux communaut\u00e9s de s\u00e9curiser leurs for\u00eats. Aujourd'hui, cette loi est une r\u00e9alit\u00e9 et plus de <a href=\"https:\/\/rdc.geocfcl.org\/\" target=\"_self\">trois millions d'hectares ont \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9sign\u00e9s comme for\u00eats communautaires<\/a> \u00e0 travers le pays. Nous avons directement contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 s\u00e9curiser 120\u2009000\u202fhectares pour plus de 28\u2009000\u202fpersonnes, qui constatent d\u00e9j\u00e0 une am\u00e9lioration de leur qualit\u00e9 de vie.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Nous avons fait campagne avec succ\u00e8s pour un <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rainforestfoundationuk.org\/fr\/les-ong-appellent-les-gouvernements-donateurs-a-intervenir-pour-arrter-les-nouveaux-plans-dexploitation-forestiere-dans-la-rdc\/\">moratoire national sur les nouvelles concessions foresti\u00e8res<\/a> - prot\u00e9ger pas moins de 70 millions d'hectares de l'industrie foresti\u00e8re. Sur le terrain, notre travail de surveillance en temps r\u00e9el a d\u00e9bouch\u00e9 sur les premi\u00e8res poursuites p\u00e9nales du pays \u00e0 l'encontre d'une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 d'exploitation foresti\u00e8re en vertu du code forestier de 2002, ainsi que sur la reconnaissance juridique de la surveillance des for\u00eats par les communaut\u00e9s. \u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Nos enqu\u00eates, nos actions en justice et nos campagnes incessantes sur les cons\u00e9quences humaines de la pollution de l'air et de l'eau. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rainforestfoundationuk.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/severe-human-rights-abuses-reported-salonga-national-park.pdf\">la conservation militaris\u00e9e en RDC<\/a> a conduit \u00e0 la premi\u00e8re condamnation d'agents anti-braconnage pour violation des droits de l'homme dans le pays. lien les communaut\u00e9s foresti\u00e8res et les autorit\u00e9s nationales afin qu\u2019elles puisse lutter conjointement contre l\u2019exploitation foresti\u00e8re et la mettre en place un mod\u00e8le r\u00e9ussi de gestion foresti\u00e8re communautaire, qui se concentre sur les droits, les besoins et les priorit\u00e9s des communaut\u00e9s locales, y compris ceux des Nations unies.
