Le 28 avril<sup>th<\/sup>Les coureurs viendront du monde entier pour relever le d\u00e9fi de leur vie. La Rainforest Foundation UK est fi\u00e8re d'avoir huit coureurs qui collectent des fonds pour elle cette ann\u00e9e. Pour les aider dans leur p\u00e9riple, nous avons demand\u00e9 \u00e0 certains de nos anciens coureurs de nous faire part de leurs conseils et de leurs r\u00e9flexions. Voici ce qu'ils nous ont dit :<\/p>\n\t\t<h3>Jacques<\/h3>\t\t\n\t\t\t<ul>\n<li>Mon principal conseil est de s'entra\u00eener - et de commencer bien \u00e0 l'avance, pas comme lorsque j'ai commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 la mi-f\u00e9vrier.<\/li>\n<li>N'apportez pas d'\u00e9quipement superflu comme des \u00e9couteurs si vous devez les \u00e9teindre et les porter dans votre main pendant des heures, alors que vous pouvez simplement \u00e9couter la foule. Le public \u00e9tait vraiment bon ! Je suis presque s\u00fbr que je n'aurais pas pu arriver s'il n'y avait pas eu un tas de gens qui distribuaient des bonbons et de l'eau.<\/li>\n<li>Et profitez-en ! Il faisait chaud, c'\u00e9tait difficile, j'avais mal. Mais une fois la ligne d'arriv\u00e9e franchie, le jeu en vaut la chandelle. Je me souviens qu'au kilom\u00e8tre 22, je me suis dit : \"Je vais vraiment le faire\",\u00a0<em>et<\/em>\u00a0Je collecte beaucoup d'argent pour une tr\u00e8s bonne cause\".<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t\t\t\t<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rainforestfoundationuk.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/ac867a26-d8ae-45b2-991d-d3d2d6d88952.png\" alt=\"ac867a26-d8ae-45b2-991d-d3d2d6d88952\" itemprop=\"image\" height=\"271\" width=\"300\" title=\"ac867a26-d8ae-45b2-991d-d3d2d6d88952\" onerror=\"this.style.display='none'\"  \/>\n\t\t<h3>Maud<\/h3>\t\t\n\t\t\t<ul>\n<li>Prenez au s\u00e9rieux le risque de blessure \u00e0 l'entra\u00eenement ! Je pensais \u00eatre presque invincible, mais je me suis bless\u00e9e pendant l'entra\u00eenement au point que je n'\u00e9tais pas s\u00fbre de pouvoir tenir le jour J. Tout ce qui est dit dans les plans d'entra\u00eenement est vrai : suivez votre plan autant que possible, n'en faites pas trop, incluez des exercices de renforcement et d'entra\u00eenement crois\u00e9, nourrissez-vous correctement et \u00e9tirez-vous - beaucoup !<\/li>\n<li>N'oubliez pas de profiter du grand jour. Les gens crieront votre nom, les enfants vous f\u00e9liciteront, les grands-m\u00e8res vous donneront de l'eau et l'adr\u00e9naline vous donnera l'impression de voler. Pour moi, c'est devenu tr\u00e8s difficile autour de la barre des 18 miles. Mais le jeu en vaut la chandelle !<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t\t\t\t<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rainforestfoundationuk.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/4eb4969f-c8a8-4649-b060-3231659717d3.png\" alt=\"4eb4969f-c8a8-4649-b060-3231659717d3\" itemprop=\"image\" height=\"271\" width=\"300\" title=\"4eb4969f-c8a8-4649-b060-3231659717d3\" onerror=\"this.style.display='none'\"  \/>\n\t\t<h3>Dan<\/h3>\t\t\n\t\t\t<ul>\n<li>Faire le plein. J'ai toujours eu pour habitude de me r\u00e9veiller, de sortir et d'aller courir d\u00e8s le matin, puis de prendre un petit d\u00e9jeuner en rentrant, car je n'ai jamais aim\u00e9 l'id\u00e9e de courir avec de la nourriture dans le ventre. Et c'est tr\u00e8s bien pour les petites courses de 20\/30 minutes, mais d\u00e8s que vous commencez \u00e0 courir plus longtemps, c'est une v\u00e9ritable lutte. Renseignez-vous le plus possible sur les aliments cl\u00e9s dont vous avez besoin pour courir sur de longues distances. J'ai commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 prendre des gels \u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques pendant les courses environ six semaines avant la course pour commencer \u00e0 planifier le meilleur moment pour les prendre et comment les utiliser au mieux.<\/li>\n<li>Prenez-en toute la mesure. La course elle-m\u00eame est difficile - on ne peut pas y \u00e9chapper. Mais c'est aussi une exp\u00e9rience absolument incroyable, une fois dans la vie ! Le bruit des milliers de personnes qui vous encouragent et vous poussent \u00e0 chaque pas est irr\u00e9el et vous devez vraiment profiter au maximum de cette exp\u00e9rience.
