Mais pour garantir des r\u00e9sultats \u00e9quitables et durables, il est n\u00e9cessaire de s'assurer qu'ils sont d\u00e9velopp\u00e9s par les communaut\u00e9s elles-m\u00eames, avec des processus activement inclusifs pour garantir que les informations obtenues sur les r\u00e9gimes fonciers et les mod\u00e8les d'utilisation des terres sont exactes et refl\u00e8tent les int\u00e9r\u00eats de tous les membres de la communaut\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>C'est particuli\u00e8rement le cas pour les femmes, qui se heurtent souvent \u00e0 des obstacles structurels et culturels \u00e0 leur participation et dont le r\u00f4le dans la gestion des ressources foresti\u00e8res n'est souvent pas reconnu. Les normes et coutumes traditionnelles signifient souvent que les femmes doivent d\u00e9pendre des hommes pour l'acc\u00e8s \u00e0 la terre et aux ressources, ce qui peut limiter leur pouvoir et leur voix dans les structures de gestion et de prise de d\u00e9cision de la communaut\u00e9. Ce probl\u00e8me est encore aggrav\u00e9 par une division in\u00e9gale du travail entre les hommes et les femmes dans de nombreuses communaut\u00e9s foresti\u00e8res, les femmes assumant des responsabilit\u00e9s en tant que productrices agricoles ainsi que pour le m\u00e9nage. Cette situation entra\u00eene de lourdes charges de travail et un manque de temps, ce qui limite encore davantage l'engagement des femmes dans la foresterie communautaire.<\/p>\n<p>N\u00e9anmoins, il existe des mesures pratiques pour \u00e9liminer ces obstacles \u00e0 la participation des femmes. En RDC, nos organisations partenaires GASHE, GeoFirst et PREPPYG veillent \u00e0 ce que les activit\u00e9s de terrain telles que les groupes de discussion ou la cartographie participative soient men\u00e9es s\u00e9par\u00e9ment avec les femmes d'abord, afin que leurs voix puissent \u00eatre entendues. D'autres bonnes pratiques consistent \u00e0 organiser des r\u00e9unions dans les villages \u00e0 des moments de la journ\u00e9e qui conviennent aux participantes, et \u00e0 pr\u00e9parer les repas de mani\u00e8re \u00e0 ce que les femmes puissent elles-m\u00eames assister aux r\u00e9unions communautaires. L'engagement dans les initiatives de foresterie communautaire permet \u00e9galement aux femmes de promouvoir et de d\u00e9fendre les questions de genre aux niveaux provincial et national, comme \u00e0 la table ronde nationale de la RDC sur la foresterie communautaire. En am\u00e9liorant la participation des femmes \u00e0 la vie publique et en soutenant leur action collective et leur mise en r\u00e9seau, on renforce les capacit\u00e9s pour favoriser l'\u00e9mergence d'un leadership f\u00e9minin et encourager un changement d'attitude en vue de surmonter les st\u00e9r\u00e9otypes discriminatoires au sein des communaut\u00e9s et \u00e0 plus grande \u00e9chelle. Avec l'adoption du d\u00e9cret sur la foresterie communautaire en 2014, des dizaines de millions d'hectares sont d\u00e9sormais potentiellement disponibles pour d\u00e9velopper des mod\u00e8les de gestion communautaire des for\u00eats, ce qui repr\u00e9sente une \u00e9norme opportunit\u00e9 non seulement de transformer la vie des communaut\u00e9s foresti\u00e8res \u00e0 travers le pays, mais aussi celle des femmes de la RDC.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rainforestfoundationuk.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/usaid_logo-300x89.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"158\" height=\"47\" \/>\u00a0 <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rainforestfoundationuk.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/norad1-1-300x137.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"126\" height=\"58\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em>L'activit\u00e9 \"For\u00eats d'Avenir\" est rendu(e) possible gr\u00e2ce au g\u00e9n\u00e9reux soutien du Peuple Am\u00e9ricain \u00e0 travers l\u2019Agence des Etats-Unis pour le D\u00e9veloppement International (USAID), ainsi que de l'Agence norv\u00e9gienne pour la coop\u00e9ration au d\u00e9veloppement (NORAD).
