CIVIC RESPONSE GHANA

Founded in 2003 in Accra, Ghana by a group of activists, Civic Response is a leading advocacy organisation working to entrench community resource rights in natural resource and environmental (NRE) governance policy. Leaders in the space of independent forest monitoring, Civic Response have supported communities all over the country to denounce illegal logging and claim their dues from timber companies using the ForestLink system. They also work in tandem with RFUK to push for a stronger government response to support these efforts.
