Cat Clarke is an anthropologist at University College London where she is currently completing her PhD. Based in Colombia, her research examines the implementation of area-based conservation targets in the Colombian Amazon, including associated risks and opportunities for Indigenous peoples. Previously Cat worked for several years in Cameroon as Country Lead for Forest Peoples Programme, where she supported Baka and Bagyeli communities to develop legal and political strategies to secure their lands. She is also an FPP Associate and Conservation Data Justice (CONDJUST) Associate Researcher.
