Georges specialises in community development, environmental governance and development project management. He has over 12 years of experience implementing programmes on community forestry, climate resilience and sustainable natural resource management in Central Africa. Throughout his career, he has worked with government agencies, as well as international and local organisations, contributing to the design, coordination and monitoring and evaluation of projects that support local communities, strengthen capacities and promote participatory models of forest governance. Recognised for his expertise in community engagement and the facilitation of participatory processes, and with a background in natural resource management, Georges is particularly committed to building the capacities of field actors and advancing inclusive approaches to natural resource governance.
