Introducing "Lands in the Right Hands": An Immersive Art Experience with Kerry Lemon
This 5 September, Rainforest Foundation UK is taking a bold, creative leap. We’re blending the worlds of immersive art and environmental activism to bring the rainforest to you in a whole new way.
Art has always been a powerful tool to connect people emotionally and foster empathy. In the charity sector, it can be especially impactful in raising awareness about pressing issues and inspiring action. Art and charity share a common goal: making the world a better place. This is why we’re thrilled to partner with the extraordinary artist Kerry Lemon to create an unforgettable event, rich in creativity, forest themes and Indigenous voices to support their efforts to secure and protect their rainforest home.
Introducing Kerry
"Kerry explores ecological issues by creating diverse artworks for the public realm, gallery environment and luxury retail. Her research-led practice, aims to connect audiences to the natural world in order to foster empathy and decentralise the human. A focus on the commonality of womxn and flora is an important, recurrent thread in this narrative feminist practice. She is driven by social impact, scientific collaboration and is a certified B Corporation committed to supporting biodiversity and emerging femxle artists."

Immersive experiences allow people to engage deeply with the subject matter, moving through a range of emotions. This personal connection can motivate increased engagement with challenging issues, such as the destruction of rainforests and the displacement of Indigenous peoples and local communities from their lands.
Artists and organisations like Rainforest Foundation UK can harness the creative force of art to uplift communities, heal wounds, and advocate for a brighter future. Together, art and charity form a formidable duo, capable of transforming lives and creating lasting change — just like our valued supporters.
