Community Forest Tenure and Mapping in Central Africa: CAR case study

CAR has a series of legislative and regulatory texts that lay down the terms and conditions for occupying the forest lands and areas, which cover around 5 million hectares or 8% of the national territory. This case study looks at the legal context in CAR and what opportunities exist for community mapping.
