Collins has 19+ years’ experience of working as a finance professional across four countries in Africa (South Africa, Cameroon, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Mali) in various sectors (Development, Audit, Mining, Logistics, Financial Consulting and Education/Training). Collins believes that accounting and financial management can be used as development catalysts in Africa, where the paradox of plenty is prevalent. Accounting and financial management capabilities and skills are needed to manage resources efficiently and effectively at three levels of society: Individual, organisational and national levels. He is therefore championing a financial educational revolution in Africa as a result. Collins is a chartered accountant registered with ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants). In 2018, he obtained a Master of Arts degree in Leading Innovation and Change from York St John University in the United Kingdom.
