Coordinator, Monitoring and Rights
Maud Lepaon is RFUK's Project Coordinator within the Monitoring and Rights team. She holds a Master's degree in International Politics and Human Rights, which marked the beginning of her career in the international solidarity sector. Maud has extensive experience working in Cameroon as an Advocacy Officer for the EUAV-FOREST programme, dedicated to preserving the Congo Basin forests and defending the rights of Indigenous peoples. Additionally, she has significant expertise in mapping local organisations, acquired through her work with a French NGO focused on combating poverty and precarity in France. Maud firmly believes that environmental protection cannot be effective unless the rights of Indigenous peoples and local communities are protected, and these stakeholders are included in environmental protection projects.
